"Extensive use of imported consumables", two hospitals were named for rectification

According to the report, in response to the problem of "not paying enough attention to people's livelihood issues such as the heavy burden of diagnosis and treatment caused by the use of imported consumables", the Fuzhou Municipal Health Commission issued the "Notice on the Investigation of the Use of Medical Consumables in Municipal Hospitals". A comprehensive investigation was carried out on the use of medical consumables in each hospital, and corresponding rectification requirements were put forward according to the investigation results.

At the same time, experts were also organized to conduct special investigations and inspections on the use of medical consumables in the Second Municipal Hospital and the Pulmonary Hospital, and put forward specific rectification measures and requirements for the "large use of imported consumables" in the two hospitals.

Urge and guide the Second Municipal Hospital and Pulmonary Hospital to further standardize the approval, knowledge and supervision of the use of medical consumables, especially imported high-value consumables, and promote the gradual decrease in the proportion of imported high-value consumables. Earlier, the Guangdong Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau stated in the "Letter No. 1116 of the Fourth Session of the Thirteenth National People's Congress of Guangdong Province Suggesting Co-organizer Opinions" that it supports the development of the domestic medical consumables industry and promotes the replacement of domestic consumables.
