Protective measures for chillers in low temperature environments:

The chiller is also one of the antifreeze keys for laser equipment. In a relatively cool environment, many users will think that the water temperature will not change too much in cold weather, so they often forget to change the water, especially in winter, because the outside temperature is very low, it is difficult to feel the heat of the spindle motor. In this case, the water cooler can be turned off at night, set to save energy, and the low temperature and normal temperature water temperature can be adjusted to 5 ~ 10 °C to ensure that the cooling liquid is in a circulating state and the temperature is not lower than the freezing point. Empty the laser tube and the cooling liquid in the water cooler after each day's use. Also, antifreeze can be used. It is generally composed of alcohol and water, with high boiling point, high specific heat and conductivity, low low temperature viscosity, not easy to foam, and does not corrode metal parts, rubber hoses, etc. Adding it to the water tank of the chiller equipped with the laser equipment can prevent the cooling water from freezing, so that the chiller can operate normally in a cold environment.

Protection measures for laser tube in low temperature environment: If the laser tube cannot be guaranteed to be in an environment with a temperature above 0 degrees Celsius, it is recommended to not turn off the water cooler at night and set it to energy saving, low temperature and normal temperature water if it is certain that there will be no power failure. Adjust the temperature to 5 ~ 10℃ to ensure that the cooling liquid of the laser tube is in a circulating state and the temperature is not lower than the freezing point. Conditional users can replace ordinary water with antifreeze for cooling cycle. This is suitable for use in moderately cold areas where the temperature below zero will not be too long or in rooms with poor indoor heating. It should be noted that any antifreeze cannot completely replace deionized water and cannot be used for a long time throughout the year. When the cold fades away and the antifreeze is used up, the pipes must be cleaned with deionized water or purified water, and the use of deionized water or purified water as the coolant should be resumed.
